Name: Kiva
Race: Eladrin
Class: Rogue
Homeland: Cormyr
Kalindor and I spent our formative years living in Mithrendain and exploring the Citadel Arcanum, where Kiva’s mother, Vyndra Sysvani, is a prominent member of the city council. We also were learning skills to live in the human world because our families wanted us to be familiar with the ways of all people and to be good leaders in the event that one of us gets chosen to be her successor. Kiva’s mother is a female Eladrin diplomat who has reputedly spent more time outside the Feywild than any other inhabitant of Mithrendain. She and Kiva’s father, Rhys have met most of the prominent citizens, rulers or important Eladrin in the feywild and taken Kiva and Kalindor on many diplomatic trips to meet them. We chose to live in the capital city of Cormyr because older noble houses tend to be less ostentatious and more comfortable.
We have lived the last 50 years in Suzail. We were lucky that our parents had ties to House Obarskyr and were instrumental in helping them regain their stronghold in Cormyr. Our parents managed to acquire a large house for us in a very nice region of the city. We were also given honorary titles in order to live in the older noble section of Suzail. A condition of receiving this honor was to join the Cormyrean Imperial Navy (The Blue Dragons). We were instrumental in rooting out Netherese spies as well as receiving schooling in various subjects that interested us.
Kiva additional background:
Siblings: Twin sisters named Chloe and Georgia that are 10 years younger. They also had to join the Blue Dragons along with their husbands Jeret and Cormac in order to live in Suzail. They share a large residence with us when we’re home. The twins and their husbands currently own a magic shop called “Wands, Wards and Wondrous Things” which is quite ‘en vogue’ with wealthy residents, the ‘wanna-be’ wealthy, adventurers and magical types.
Residence: The house is a large multi-family home that isn’t showy on the outside but blends into the wooded property. It is down a back street and has about an acre and water rights. The property has tall trees and several stories have been added to the house as an attempt at imitating the architecture in Methrendain. The backyard contains a garden and a fresh water lake that pipes water into the house and is also used for irrigation. In addition there is a stable, rabbit hutch and chicken house. An additional barn contains a large carriage. The house is located near the Royal Palace on The Royal Rd. near the East Gate. It is also near the Shrines to Tempus and Oghma. The Winking Eye Tavern is on the same block.

Name: Antaris
Race: Eladrin
Class: Rogue/Specialist
Homeland: Isles of Evermeet (Leuthilspar)
Antaris
is an assumed name used for adventuring, derived from Eladrin
folklore. He is the youngest of six brothers. His stature is tall and
lean with golden hair and blue eyes. His keen acrobatic agility
compensates for his lack of experience and often cavalier attitude.
This party is his first “adventure” away from Evermeet.
Early
childhood was spent behind closed doors. While his older brothers were
groomed towards the family business, he was left behind, often to his
books. He was privately educated by family retained professors. While
naturally gifted in general academic pursuits, his passion became
ancient Fey history. He also specialized in early Eladrin and pre-Elven
history. His enthusiasm for history is balanced by his family
obligation towards mastering formal diplomacy and physical training.
Being
the youngest, and often disregarded brother, he entertained himself at
the dismay of his keepers and parents. At the age of fourteen he
“acquired” an invisibility cloak from a visiting mage. Being curious he
slipped off throughout the house enjoying his watching of unsuspecting
guests. Later than night he “accidentally” crossed into the all-female
section of the grounds, in a purely scientific endeavour. Feeling bold
and daring he entered the changing facilities; however he forgot about
the anti-magical warding which rendered the cloak useless. The owner of
the clock was dismayed when questioned by his parents and the house
guards. At the age of sixteen he decided to leave the estate and met a
curious commoner named Eld-Quinn. It was from this fellow young Eladrin
he learned his rogue talents. This fact was kept a secret from his
parents, who would have been sorely disappointed in him. At the age of
twenty he was offered a chair position with the Royal Historical Society
as a lecture. This was expanded to junior professor at age
twenty-three. He quickly tired of stifling environment surrounding
academia and entered a period of disrepute.
Over several
months he was publicly scene gambling, excessively drinking and
frequenting establishments of ill-repute. This scandalous activity
compelled his parents to enlist him with the military. While awaiting
his joining date for basic training, he secretly obtained the blessing
of the Royal Historical Society to retrieve objects of cultural or
historical value, as a service to Eladrin society. To achieve this
quest he decided to clandestinely leave Evermeet. However, his mother
learned of this. She agreed to his ongoing quest provided he took an
elder highly trusted member of her retinue.
Currently Antaris
has joined his current party while visiting the village of Windborne.
His continual quest is to locate items of significant cultural or
historical importance and return them to their rightful owner or send
them back to Evermeet for protection. His secluded upbringing is
evident when he meets new races other than Eladrin, as he often relies
on his formal education in diplomacy rather than charisma. His younger
days of debauchery continually arise as he’s quite found of pleasurable
pursuits. Antaris seems to form friendships quickly with fellow members
of the party who exhibit moral flexibility or a preoccupation with
liquid refreshments.

Homeland: New Velar (Formally Harrowdale)
Valiant was born Tamarind Colburn, the third son of the noble house Colburn. Tamarind’s father was one of the Seven Burghers of New Velar (formerly Harrowdale) and house Colburn was one of the wealthiest. Having been born with an almost supernatural animal magnetism and “presence”, Tamarind was a natural selection as one of the delegates ultimately responsible for the treaty signed with neighboring Myth Drannor. His father had hopes of Tamarind becoming the Knight Commander of the local militia and had him trained as such. However, one fateful evening Tamarind was visited by none other than Sune herself whereby she asked him to serve her and spread her influence across Faerun. Tamarind accepted his charge and was rewarded with a night of passion with Sune. The goddess left him with these parting words “Welcome to my fold my Valiant one”.
Henceforth, Tamarind is now known by his god-given name Valiant. He is accompanied by his elven squire Valen and half-elven herald Phillip. Together they traverse Faerun spreading Sune’s influence and doing good deeds.

As
a young Eladrin, I frequently dabbled in the arcane, until one day my
oldest sibling mysteriously turned into a newt. My parents, not to keen
at the prospect of their oldest son remaining an amphibian, promptly
hired a wizard to change him back. Unbeknown to the wizard, I had in
the mean time swapped my newt/sibling with a genuine newt. After
several hours of head scratching, the wizard cast another detect magic
spell and deduced that the newt had become non magical. This caused
quite an uproar. As a result, my parents (knowing my precocious
adorable ways) encouraged me to come clean. Once the story came out,
the wizard proceed to transmogrify my older sibling. He once again
became a brother (in the process of eating a fly) much to my amusement.
While
this occurred, the Wizard was quite impressed with my ability (at such
an early age). A conversation ensued with the parental units and it was
agreed by all (I was not given a vote) that perhaps some training in the
arcane arts might prove beneficial. I was taken on as an apprentice to
travel the lands and learn arcane wisdom at the feet of my master i.e
(do his chores).
Needless to say, that didn't last too long (he
was boring and suffered from severe halitosis). My abilities and thirst
for knowledge allowed me to seek out progressively advanced wizards
which allowed me to proceed at a fairly rapid pace compared to most
apprentices. The fact that my practical jokes also encouraged this rapid
progression was purely coincidental.
Fast forward many years.
Having
met that special someone i.e. (someone willing to up with my practical
jokes and quirky if cute humor), we travel the lands seeking adventure
and loot (and more magical items).
