Adventure Summary: 07/10/10:
Taking an extended rest in their tower before continuing onward the party traveled along the Trade Way to the base of the Starspire foothills. There, they came across a Trade Way camp allowing travelers to rest and stable their horses for a small fee.
After stabling their horses, the party began their trek into the Starspires very early in the morning. Coming into the foothills, they followed the trail sketched out by Seth, and came upon a clearing with an area that seem to produce an electrostatic charge. Antaris searched the area and discovered some rocks that when disturbed, have a fairly nasty electrical discharge. Various members of the party gathered the rocks as crafting material for later use.
Continuing on, the players came upon an abandoned tower that appeared to have a sense of dread about it. Investigating the area, they disturbed a guardian of the tower who ordered them away, and if they did not, challenged them to a fight! Some of the party engaged the creature, eventually defeating the guardian and opening up the tower for searching.
Valiant and Gnorm performed a ritual that cleansed the tower of it's defilement, as Antaris, Kalindor, and Kiva searched for treasure. The group came upon a tapestry, a magical bell of turning, a skeleton key, and various gems and coins.
Kiva searched around and noticed a secret passage that entered the storeroom of the tower. Gathering her friends, the group trudged down the passageway and ended up in the valley overlooking the Bandit Fortress that holds their precious chandelier. They had made it.
