The adventurers spent time finishing up their respective tasks in the capital city of Zazesspur. Antaris finished smelting his gold ore, went shopping, and rendezvoused with the rest of the group. Gnorm, Seth, and Elmorra hit a dead end with tracking the thief that rufied Antaris and stole his gold. Kiva and Kalindor finished shopping and the entire party met in one of the city's marketplaces.

In the marketplace a low-level street rat tried to pick-pocket Kalindor and failed. They hauled the frightened human to a nearby tavern and interrogated him about his ties to the thieves guild. He informed the group that he was part of a lesser guild in the city but the one that stole from Antaris was connected to the Shadow Thieves, one of the largest and most influential Thieves guilds on the entire Sword Coast.

They eventually let the thief, named Rand, go, and while he was escaping the tavern he ran into a Half-Orc magic-user who about killed the clumsy human for his insubordination, until Kalindor intervened. While in the tavern, Kiva noticed a disguised being who appeared to have Drow features, he/she met with the irritated Half-Orc and concealed themselves in a room. The party investigated and discovered that the room was empty, the two beings magically teleported away.

Leaving  the tavern and heading back to The Purple Minotaur, Seth encountered Elranion, an elf from his homeland in the Feywild informing Seth of a dire circumstance regarding his home and the Famorians. Seth then met with Dwannar the Dwarf smithy and the group had a round of brews with the dwarf who proposed some business propositions with Seth and his kin amongst the Feywild.

Upon Seth's leaving, the party made their way back to the hotel and was greeted with a mob of people forming around Sir Valiant, a noble paladin of the order of Sune, goddess of romance, love, and beauty. He had been tracking the party since Windbourne, on the orders of his church, and met with the group to explain some of the background he had discovered regarding the Baron Van Grimm, the Black Mages, and the theft of the relics from Windbourne.

The party then teamed up with Valiant, taking advantage of his offer of assistance to retrieve their stolen chandelier from the bandit fortress. They left Zazesspur in the evening, and traveled along the Trade Way coming to the Suldusksoon river crossing and encountered a group of bandit monsters lying in wait for travelers.

A ferocious party of Orcs, Gnoll manslayers, and an Ogrillion crossbreed engaged the party in a dramatic battle. Kalidor let loose his warlock powers, Sir Valiant charged the monsters with mighty steed, while Gnorm, Antaris, Kiva, and Elmmorra, attacked vigilantly against their savage opponents.

The fight was brutal and the party succeeded in killing all except the monster boss, the Ogrillion. Healing himself battle, and being dragged through a blade barrier brought on by Gnorm, the Ogrillion recognized he had a losing battle before him and retreated to regroup and re-organize at a later time. The party vowed death upon him when next they meet.
