The party exited the dwarf mine ruins meeting up with a party of dwarves dispatched to investigate the issue within the mines. Kalindor traded with one of the dwarfs to acquire a flintlock pistol with some shot and powder. The party had heard of such things but had yet to seem them in the flesh.

The sky was overcast and rainy when the party had re-emerged from the mine, and joined Eldrad and Drogo. Drogo parted ways with the group as he had to head back to the Underdark to attend to family matter that had arisen. Eldrad was recovering from his wound and was fit to travel.

Collecting what was left of their belongings and horses, the party made their way to the coast in an effort to get to the bandit  fortress that had raided their encampment, eventually coming to the Trade Way near the Starspire Peninsula. It was decided to head into the city of Zazesspur just south of the mountains to sell and trade with the merchants.

The group made their way into Zazesspur, signed in with the city register, and made their way to The Purple Minotaur Inn, one of most expensive and decadent inns in Zaz.

They checked in with the Inn and visited a Dwarven smithy named Dwannar's Armorworks, to upgrade their shields, armor, and weapons. Seth made good friends with the dwarf Dwannar by sharing a keg of his favorite human brewed stout, Dark Root. Antaris and the rest of the group shopped, while Gnorm went to a temple of Carl Glittergold and asked for residence, and also to investigate a very old relic he had retrieved from the Baron Van Grimm's manor house, the ancient Holy Symbol of Pelor. It was discovered that the holy symbol contained a map and clues to the supposed whereabouts of a relic of Pelor, known as the "Lifeblood of the god". The script is cryptic and tough to read, and the map shows an area affected by Returned-Abeir, which has fractured the countryside into various earth motes.

Back at the Inn, Antaris was slipped a roofie by a human woman attempting to flirt with Kalindor who redirected her flirtations towards the "young" Eladrin. Antaris discovered in the morning that he had lost over 5,000 gp's of coin and gems. Eldrad had awoken him, and informed him of his situation.

Gnorm, Elmmorra, and Seth attemped to track down the woman, while Antaris went to a smelter for his gold ore, and Kalindor and Kiva continued shopping at various magic shops, such as the The Crooked Hand, with a "odd" half-elf proprietor named Robertac and his Unicorn, Avidena.

Seth, Gnorm, and Elmmorra tracked the woman to an abandoned shop on the docks of Zaz, entering within the building they discovered that the woman had apparently disappeared through a teleportation door which requires a password. Antaris collected his 5,500 gp's worth of gold out of the smelted ore, and Kalindor Kiva wrapped up shopping at The Crooked Hand.

The session ended until next time, when the party wraps up their tour of Zazesspur and sets forth to reclaim their chandelier from the bandit fortress!
